Our guild will be participating in the Sun, Sand, and Sea CQA/ACC MEMBER GUILD QUILT CHALLENGE 2023. Details can be found here.
Guild member quilt submissions for the Sun, Sand and Sea challenge are to be brought to the Common Thread April meeting so we can select the one our guild will submit to the CQA national quilt show.

2018/2019 CQA Challenge
Canadian Quilters Association – Quilting Gone Viral
Canadian Quilters Association has announced a challenge and the Common Thread Quilt Guild will be participating. Check out the requirements in the attachment and get working on your submission. Each participating guild will submit one winner which will hang at Quilt Canada 2019 in Ottawa. The overall winner, chosen by People’s Choice, will win $100. Your completed project must be brought to Guild by our April 2019 Guild Meeting. All submissions will be judged by an independent panel. Good luck.

WINNER
Congratulations to Rachel Mathews! Her entry for the Quilt Canada Member Guild Challenge, Quilting Goes Viral, was selected by independent judges at Quilty Pleasures. Quilter’s names were hidden during the judging process. Rachel’s wall hanging will hang at Quilt Canada in June and will judged against entries from all over Canada.
