Welcome to the Fat Quarters Club! Join the fun at each in-person guild meeting and share your love for fabrics by contributing a Fat Quarter, and get a chance to win a whole collection of themed Fat Quarter fabrics.
Guests are always welcome to participate!
What is a Fat Quarter?
A Fat Quarter is a pre-cut piece of fabric used in quilting that typically measures 18 inches x 22 inches. It is called a Fat Quarter because it is a quarter of a yard of fabric. It has the same surface area as a regular quarter-yard (9″ × 44″), but it is cut in a handy rectangle rather than a long, narrow strip.
However fabrics measuring a quarter of a meter or half a meter are also welcome – plus a 1/2 meter of fabric counts as 2 entries!!
How Does It Work?
- Drop-off – bring your precut piece of a quality 100% cotton fabric to the Fat Quarters Club table before the meeting starts.
- Get a Ticket – receive one raffle ticket for every Fat Quarter you contribute.
- Win Fabric – we draw a winner during the meeting.
